iOS Integration

Sync PepTalk Peptides with Apple Health

PepTalk Peptides reads your wearable data from Apple Health and writes your journaling entries back. Bidirectional, per-category opt-in, processed on-device first. Apple HealthKit framework, iOS 16+.

What flows IN — Apple Health → PepTalk Peptides

When you grant a category, PepTalk Peptides reads the corresponding data type and surfaces it in the relevant tab (Dashboard, Workouts, Nutrition, Journal, or the women's/men's health hubs).

Connect Apple Health to PepTalk Peptides

  1. Install PepTalk Peptides from the App Store on iOS 16 or newer.
  2. Open the app and complete onboarding.
  3. Go to Settings → Integrations → Apple Health and tap Connect.
  4. iOS shows a per-category permission sheet. Toggle the data types you want PepTalk Peptides to read and write. Tap "Allow All" for the full experience, or pick categories one by one.
  5. PepTalk Peptides does an initial sync (a few seconds) and then keeps up in the background going forward.

To change permissions later: iOS Settings → Health → Data Access & Devices → PepTalk Peptides. You can grant or revoke any category here without uninstalling the app.

Privacy

Apple Health data is processed on-device first. It is transmitted to PepTalk Peptides servers only if you have explicitly enabled cloud sync for your account — otherwise it stays local and disappears when you uninstall.

PepTalk Peptides does not share Apple Health data with advertisers and does not sell user data. The full data-flow disclosure lives in the privacy policy, and Apple Health-specific category enumeration is at the health data disclosure page.

Frequently asked questions

Does PepTalk Peptides read everything in Apple Health automatically?+

No. Every data type is opt-in. iOS shows you a per-category permission sheet when PepTalk Peptides first asks, and you can revoke any category in Settings → Health → Data Access & Devices → PepTalk Peptides at any time.

Does the integration send my Apple Health data to PepTalk Peptides's servers?+

Apple Health data is read on-device. It is sent to PepTalk Peptides servers only if you have enabled cloud sync for your PepTalk Peptides account — otherwise it stays local. The privacy policy enumerates exactly what crosses the wire under which condition.

Will PepTalk Peptides overwrite my Apple Health entries?+

No. PepTalk Peptides only writes new entries it owns (your daily check-in, your in-app weight log, your mindful minutes). It cannot modify or delete entries written by other apps or by the iOS Health app itself.

I revoked permission. Will old data disappear?+

Data already pulled into PepTalk Peptides before revocation stays in your PepTalk Peptides journal until you delete the account. Nothing new is read after revocation.

Why does PepTalk Peptides ask for so many categories?+

Each category powers a specific surface — steps for the dashboard step count, HRV for the recovery context, sleep for the sleep journal page. Grant only what you want surfaced.

What if I have an iPhone but no Apple Watch?+

PepTalk Peptides works fine with iPhone-only data. Steps and basic activity come from the iPhone's motion coprocessor. HRV, sleep stages, and VO₂ max require a watch or compatible third-party device that writes to Apple Health.

Does Aimee see my Apple Health data?+

Aimee can reference categories you have explicitly synced — e.g., she might note that your HRV is trending low before suggesting a high-intensity session. She does not interpret it medically. See the Aimee page for the full scope.

Can I export everything PepTalk Peptides has on me?+

Yes — the data-rights page documents the request flow. The export includes everything synced from Apple Health and everything entered directly.
